Joana Gomila (Mallorca, 1982)

Singer, voice artist, musician, composer and performer. Her last personal project is Folk Souvenir (Bubota Discos, 2016) in which she explores the popular tunes of Majorca from the perspective of impro music, psicodelic jazz and contemporary. 
Joana has been part of many scenic projects (Andrés Lima, Res de Res, Hotel Iocandi, Corcada Teatre,...). She collaborate very often with other musicians in the impro, jazz and experimental scene of Barcelona. As well as being part of other projects, she sings with Rufaca Folk Jazz Orchestra -just released Beatus Ille (Seed Music, 2017) and has an impro duo Ca! with the drummer Arnau Obiols.

Joana also composes music and sound spaces for dance ant theatre. She collaborate with Lali Ayguadé (Sa Mateixa, Here), with Mariantònia Oliver, Magí Serra, Res de Res, Hotel iocandi,...
